‘Compassion’…what is it? Is it helping the old lady across the street? Does it necessarily involve doing something that you’d rather not, in order to help somebody else? What does it even mean to help someone? And how long can we help them for?

Yes, it’s a tricky subject…so let’s have a good old chat about it. On Thursday 7th this week we’ll be talking about compassion from many angles, and we hope that you can join us and provide some food for thought. Being called ‘Krishna West,’ you may have guessed that we take a lot of inspiration from timeless texts such as the Bhagavad Gita. So we’ll be delving into some quotes from such literature.

And we want wisdom from all angles – so don’t be shy…dig out that poem or movie quote, and bring your show and tell to our discussion on compassion this week. We may have 10 minutes for some soothing mantra meditation, and snacks will be provided of course.

Hope to see you there,
Krishna West London team.
